I do believe I meet your criteria in every aspect. I'm generally a nice person, and I'm always open to constructive criticism. I would be willing to have all my alts in <Exodus> if necessary.

What is your interest in joining Exodus, and why do you believe you're a good candidate?
<Exodus> is one of the best raiding guilds on Cairne, and I believe I can be an asset to your organization in many ways. Most notably is the fact that I have an MDPS, RDPS, Tank, and Healer among all my characters, meaning that I can fill any role necessary, though of course I prefer playing on my rogue as much as possible. I'm not one to be offended if I'm told to correct something I'm doing. In fact, Rknine gives me good tips on things I could tweak on my rogue quite often. I've followed his advice and have since increased my DPS by a significant margin. I'm certainly not high maintenance, though.

Are there any Exodus members you know who can speak on your behalf?
Beefisgood may or may not remember me. He left <Envious> during one of our 25 man pug raids because Bogorahan pulled twice when people weren't ready, I've since seen him in <Exodus>. We were friendly then, I'm not sure how well he thinks of me now. Aside from that, I do know quite a few good players on this server. Atramontik is a good friend of mine (I'm in his guild). Rknine, Alt, Drow, Kassion, and some other good players have also played/raided successfully with me before. In fact just two days ago I was in an ICC10 group with Atra, Nine, Alt, and a few others when we one-shotted the Lich King fight. I know those people aren't in <Exodus>, but I list them just to give you an idea of my raiding capability.

Have you been in any other guilds on Cairne?
<Envious> is my current guild, before that I was in <The Fallen>. Before <The Fallen>, I'm ashamed to say I played on the Alliance. I'm thinking of leaving <Envious> for the same reason that Beefisgood left. As much as I think Atramontik is a great guy as is Greenjet and Arathnos (other officers), I feel like I'd like to play with a more organized team.

Have you ever leveled other characters to 80?
Yes, a Death Knight and a Druid.

Can your system handle 25-man raiding reliably?
Yes. I get 40-60 FPS in 25-man ICC and my connection is very reliable.

What kind of raid/end game experience do you have (be specific)?
I'm a 10-man Kingslayer. I took a break during the Ulduar days, and I have some very outdated knowledge of Naxx. I wish I could say more about it, but unfortunately I wasn't a very active player before Wrath released. Obviously I know the OS fight well too, but really who doesn't?

What is your play schedule like? Can you consistently meet our 25-man raid times?
Yes, Tuesday/Thursday nights should almost always be open for me as well as Sunday nights.

Any other comments?
Although I'm not a very well known raider among the members of Cairne, I believe if given a chance I will quickly meet or even exceed your expectations of my raiding ability. I plan to be a very active player during Cataclysm. On my rogue, in a raid setting, I can do 11k+ damage/second, and have reached nearly 14k damage/second on certain occasions.

nice well rounded app! and i like the fact u r an active player .....not that this will be the case but how willing would u be to play a diff toon/class in raids ...our raid makeups change from night to night periodicly and sometimes need to fill raid positions with certine roles would u be willing to change your main /class/spec if needed or asked ?

I would be more than willing to play any class needed. I strongly believe that my relationship with any guild is symbiotic. In other words, as long as I do my best to help my peers, I'll get the same in return.

Good attitude. It's sometimes easy to forget that although this is a game the guild is a community and requires everyone working together to stay strong.

I had a quick look at you character and it looks like you have a solid grasp on assassination and the changes since 4.0. As for questions:
1. What rotation do you use for ST fights?
2. What do you believe to be the stat priorities for assassination?
3. Can you explain why you have chosen not to gem/reforge for the expertise soft cap?

1. First, I get Rupture up for the extra energy regeneration. Usually it leaves me with an extra combo point thanks to Ruthlessness which I use to get SnD up. I quickly Mutilate and then Envenom the target to get SnD back to 20 seconds. After that, it's usually a matter of keeping up Rupture and SnD. I aim for 4 points before I Envenom. I usually have time for two Envenoms before I need to Rupture again. Once the target's health is below 35%, I replace Mutilate with Backstab because of Murderous Intent. Aside from that, I use Vendetta when it's off cooldown, I Feint when needed, and have the tank on macro for Tricks of the Trade in case he by some chance loses aggro.
2. Currently, the stat priorities are Hit, Expertise, Haste, and Mastery (not necessarily in that order). Of course Agility is the priority when it comes to the "main stats". Rknine advised me to take Mastery over Haste right now because of the amount of bonus damage we get from our poisons, and it has improved my damage/second quite a bit. I'd have to say that Hit and Expertise are essential, but Mastery is currently the huge damage booster for us Assassination Rogues.
3. From what I've heard, the difference for Rogues between 23/23 and 26/26 right now is so marginal that it isn't worth spending the points on. I decided to take some extra Mastery points instead. I haven't noticed any significant change from when I was 26/26 as far as my attacks being dodged by bosses, so I'd have to say that it seems that 23/23 is sufficient for Rogues at this point.

Obviously I don't solely listen to the advice of Rknine. I do consider him to be a good player, though, so when he gives me a tip I tend to use it.

Also, I wanted to note that I hit 85 today on my Rogue. Some of my post therefore will be outdated. I will provide updates to my answers if asked.

just gunna throw my 2 cents in here. Advice is exactly that, advice. It's a tool to be used at your own cost. Granted some advice may be bad and some may be good, it is up to you to use the advice you are given and it's also up to you to figure out if its good or bad advice.

Having a large group of people that you know to be decent rogue and talking with them about rogue stuff is usually nice, however, 90% of the research can be found on EJ.com and other well respected websites.
