I'm just wondering, with the looting system, how do you figure in off spec items? Like lets say a piece of holy plate drops, and it just happens that our healers either can't use it, or already have it/something better, does it still count towards GP? Like if I wanted that OS because nobody else could use it or needs it, would it then decrease my priority for a tank piece? I don't think I saw anything in the EPGP sticky about that.

EPGP is really simply once you get the addon. Basically when loot drops you can choose to roll for MS, OS, or Pass. You only have a chance to win something for your OS if no one else rolls MS. If you do win something for OS you are charged GP of 10% of the cost. So, for example, a piece of gear has a cost of 500GP would cost only 50GP if won as OS. This will decrease your priority slightly, but it is minimal when compared to the 'actual' cost of the piece. The decision is still yours if you think it's worth it or not.
