Character Name: Elfder
Level: 70
Race: Troll
Class: Rogue
Armory Link: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/c ... r/advanced
Current Spec: Subtlety
Raid Spec: Assassination
Off Spec (if any): Not sure, raid? combat or sub
Alts: 80 dk
Professions: None yet, I'll power level something soon though.
Recent WWS/WoL link (if available): None yet, I mainly pvp on this rogue

How did you hear about us? I see people round around Org sometimes and googled "wow Exodus Cairne" also Wowprogress helps.

What aspect(s) of the game is your main focus? Pvp and Raiding

Are you applying to be a Social or Raiding member? Mainly social for now perhaps later raiding but not now.

Have you read and understood our guild charter? Any comments regarding it? Yeah, I have. No comments.

What is your interest in joining Exodus, and why do you believe you're a good candidate? Social and maybe raiding someday but that's uncertain. I think I'm no more special than anyone else.

Are there any Exodus members you know who can speak on your behalf? No

Have you been in any other guilds on Cairne? The Tonberry Tribe, mainly solo before that.

Have you ever leveled other characters to 80? Yeah

Can your system handle 25-man raiding reliably? Yes

What kind of raid/end game experience do you have (be specific)? Well raiding is all about awareness and nothing more, meaning don't stand in fire, kill adds if needed etc. However I have no raiding experience other than bc raids I've done which don't account for much on this alt.

What is your play schedule like? Can you consistently meet our 25-man raid times? Yeah but like I said, mainly a social app not a raiding one. When the time comes if it does I can meet the time schedule requirement.

Any other comments? This rogue might be an alt but I believe I know the class pretty well, it's simple compared to say their cousins; feral druids.

Since you are applying as social, do you know anyone in the guild? Names?

Who is your main?

No, I don't but since I am a low lvl rogue I though saying social was right. I don't need help leveling or anything, I just need a guild that will be good if I ever decide to level my rogue.

I think my main for Cata is going to be my druid; Hadsu which is currently in Skethyl Berry brewing Co. however I have more than just him and I can do decent on everything I play. I can provide druids wol if it'll help prove it or not.

So your main is in Skethyl and you want to apply to us with an alt? Or would you be bringing over your druid from Skethyl?

Yes, but I can play all my alts as if they were my main or at least try. The druid was an alt and used to go toe to toe on dps with my old main. I played feral before the huge buff and thought on making it my main for Cataclysm but I do not know what my main will be for sure because currently my game has been frozen till like Thursday or Friday and I have not yet leveled anything passed 80.

Part of why I'm applying to Exodus as a social member is because of the low lvl of my rogue right now and to see how the guild is and the people in it, but I'm willing to answer any questions regarding rogues to prove I know the class I'm applying with. I don't expect to actually get an alt in but it was worth a shot and I lost nothing trying.

being able to play your rogue is cool, but the uncertainty you have with who your main will be, isn't appealing too much. Now that's just my opinion. If you do switch your main to your rogue (This question may come off as rude, but I, in no way, intend to be so) how can you unsure that you won't just stop down the road and switch to another alt?

I really don't want to dissuede you or anything from app'ing, it's just the way you answered Jax.

Good point and I am not sure myself, I do however like the rogue play style. I also find rogue good for pvp aswell and Exodus being the guild that it is should have a high guild level so with the new guild perks it's a win/win deal. I'm not gonna lie, this might not be my main for Cataclysm and I wanted to join mainly for rated bgs and guild perks, that is if you guys are interested in rated bgs but not only that if I ever decided to raid on my rogue I would already have a guild for him. I know Exodus has a big standby list for melee so it wasn't really for the raiding, I mean in time while I level and have fun on this rogue that standby list might not be so big.

btw; both my specs are pvp specs, I find frost mages easier as assassination.

So what you are saying is that you want to park your alt here and enjoy the guild perks that we've worked to earn and since your main is in another guild you won't be contributing to earning them? Like you said, you have nothing to lose by apping here, but that's pretty bold.

Well actually I have to help get some to earn guild rep to advance and buy anything, even if I joined with say my Death Knight or Warrior it would be the same, i'll sit on standby till a spot opens up. Even if I joined on my Druid it would be the same. The guild levels from achievements earned and reputations , look at this

# Boss kills in a raid or dungeon in which 75% of the party is from the same guild
# Rated Battleground or Arena wins in which 75% of the party is from the same guild
# Completing quests / daily quests that reward experience[1] or would have rewarded experience if you're level 85.
# An individual player's faction reputation advancement
# An individual player's profession progression

I can contribute to some of that, maybe rated bgs, rep and profession progression. Everyone in the guild regardless if they raid or not contributes to guild advancement. I will level this Rogue to 85, and help the guild advance and like I said, even if I joined on an 80 and leveled it to 85, there's still the standby which will be the same as having my Rogue/Druid/Mage or whatever other alt I have.

Directly quoted from yourself. You are contradicting yourself.
