As far as I've found, the most beneficial gem that fits for activating that meta is the purple 12sp/10spirit. Straight spirit does not give you the same stat weight as the sp/spirit gem does.

hi, i neglecte to us the 7 and 9 socket bonuses becuse in the end destro lock want alot of SP and if u check its better to have all plus 23, with the exception of your your 2 blues, i havebeen looking for a 12 sp 10s gem but was not able to find 1 so i just gotthe +20spirit as a filler until i get them,

Assuming your talkign about Saurfang or lady deathwhisper with the whole add thing
i feel about 50-60 percent of your dps should be on the adds, maybe even more for Saurfang.

These are the destro stat weights according to EJ. With your specific gear it would fluctuate slightly, but not much. These values and a calculator will tell you exactly how to gem, with a fair degree of accuracy.
Spirit 0.96
Spell power 1.91
Crit rating 1.30
Haste rating 1.35

This is how it was suggested to gem:
" * ... red, gem [Runed Cardinal Ruby]. Always.
* ... yellow with a bonus of either at least 4 spell power, 6 haste, 7 crit or 9 spirit, gem [Reckless Ametrine]. If you're below the hit cap, gem [Veiled Ametrine] or [Rigid King's Amber] depending on how much below. Otherwise, go with a [Runed Cardinal Ruby].
* ... blue with a bonus of either at least 6 spell power, 9 haste, 10 crit or 13 spirit, gem [Purified Dreadstone]. the basic rule i use is this...if its +7 sp, try to meet the colors to match, otherwise sp is usually ( although not always) a better bet. you need to sit down and take a look at your toon, i end up telling you the same thing ever week, but you never change anything. this is a progressive guild, ppl arent here to teach you, you should already know. now, youre my friend for years, so i wont post as i usually would, however...i have offered to teach you a few times, and theres several sites that are very good, warlocks den, elitist jerks are 2 examples...take a look at some of those locks

HI, i read the whole article on EJ i chaged my gems accordingly although some stay because i felt that it would be better. i have recently got the sons of hodir solder enchant, as long as msot of the +7 spellpower gems. im working on the rest.

So I am assuming you raid as destro. You appear to not be hit capped. Without suppression, you need 446 as a destro lock. With it, you need 367, and even less if you're specced into suppression and raid with a spriest or boomkin.
